A Day Out With Thomas the Train

We drove 3 hours and 20 mins to Heber City, Utah to see the Most Useful Engine on the Railway! Thomas the Train Engine
Thomas moved his eyes and peeped out smoke from his smoke stack

All aboard!
The conductor that punched our tickets to ride Thomas

Bridger is showing off his Harold the Helicopter "skin sticker"

While riding Thomas, Robbie said, "Thomas is taking us all to the Island of Sodor"

On our way back to the train depot

Robbie dressed as Thomas and Sierra as James.
Sierra thinks James is a girl because on the costume James has eyelashes. Only girls have eyelashes mom!

Bridger didn't want to go anywhere near him!

Imagination Station
I think we have at least 5 of these spread out all over our house!
They also had a petting zoo set up for the kids. Which included a 7 week old camel that the kids thought was quite impressive. Sierra loved being able to feed and groom the ponies.
We also watched a magic show and a few kid bands play. The kids loved being able to get away and stay in a hotel for a night. Sierra said the continental breakfast served the next morning was so good, that we should eat there every morning. Long drive for a cheap hotel meal.

Bridger's First Dentist Appointment

All three kids had their pictures taken and were put up on the Cavity Free Wall of Fame!
The waiting room in Dr. McWhorter's office
The teeth in the fixture behind Bridger is a musical keyboard
The Tooth Fairy

Yep, that's an alligator with human teeth. A bit creepy, but Bridger thought it was a great way to learn how to brush your teeth.

The teeth brushing station

Bridger loved his entire dentist appointment except for sitting in the actually dental chair. We had to complete the rest of his exam from my lap.

The toy chamber!
I had to remind the kids numerous times why he doesn't give out candy instead!

Our Kindergarten Graduate

Kindergarten Class of 2009!
Sierra receiving her kindergarten diploma from Syringa's school principal, Miffy Lane

Bridger is so proud of his sister! When asked if he would like to share some words for his sister he said, "No, (pause)I love you!"

Sierra will now be in the first grade! As her mother, I'm not sure how I'll handle that! I guess I have the whole summer to take it all in! We are very proud of your hard work over this past year, Littles! You became a master at your spelling tests!

Grandma and Papa Warth, the proud grandparents! Papa's words for the graduate: Congratulations Sierra, Kindergarten graduation only happens once! Grandma's words for the graduate: I'm proud of you, Sierra! You worked hard.

Sierra and her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Swan

We went out to lunch to celebrate her graduation. She was allowed to invite one friend. She choose to bring her friend Faith.

All you can eat pizza, pasta and ice cream! I think they ate more than they weigh.

Silly kids celebrating!

Mothers Day

I remember a quote by Elizabeth Stone, "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” I love being a mother and would sacrifice all I have for my family! I am grateful to have the gospel in my life. I know that Heavenly Father's plan is perfect and that as a family we CAN be together forever! I pray for the strength and faith to always be the best example for my children. That I will teach them all they need to know to be truly happy!
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Rob and the kids surprised me with a dozen red roses.
Sierra had a "secret" field trip at school that the mothers were not invited on. Grandma Warth went with her and they went to Idaho State University. The children made these bowls from clay for Mother's Day. A poem was also given with this gift.
Thank you for molding my mind.
Thank you for sculpting my heart.
Thank you for shaping my imagination.
Thank you for holding my hands;
So, that they might have the ability to create.
I love you, Mom! A million Kisses!!!
Your daughter, Sierra Warth

The craft Robbie made for me at Pre-school. He was very excited he got to paint. He could hardly keep it a secret from me!

Robbie also wanted to make my day even more special. While at Grandma and Papa Warth's house, he picked me a bouquet of flowers which he stuffed into this vase for me.
