Bridger monkey took his last lucky fall this month. This kid is always getting banged or bruised up somehow or another. This time he took the plunge off a bar stool while trying to to do flips off the bar stool onto the couch. After repeatedly telling him to stop he was gonna hurt himself, he managed to do just that, and fell cutting his chin open! Waiting for the numbing to take affect so he can be all stitched up His prize possessions from the Dr's. office, the two things that keep him some what happy through the whole ordeal!

The City of Rocks

This unique geologic area became a landmark in 1843 for California-bound emigrants. They left wagon ruts across the landscape and their signatures in axle grease on Register Rock, Camp Rock and many others.
A few granite pinnacles and monoliths are in excess of sixty stories tall and 2.5 billion years old. The smooth granite faces offer exceptional rock climbing. Today, over 500 climbing routes have been identified.

We decided to take a daycation to The City of Rocks. This national reserve is only about an hour and a half from where we live.

City of Rocks encompasses 14,407 acres of land. There is approximately 12 miles of road within in the park.

Remington enjoyed our trip to City of Rocks within the comfort of the heated van. Before windchill the temperature outside was 44 degrees!

Here are some historic signatures on rock spires written in axle grease by emigrants traveling the California Trail (1843-1869). We found these on Camp Rock.

If you look close enough you can see how high Rob and Robbie climbed. They definitely conquered Bread Loaf! Robbie was fearless and enjoyed every minute of it! He acted as if it was just a walk in the park!

Sierra and Rob made it just about a quarter of the way up Bread Loaf before Sierra decided it was to high and thought she might fall. She keep telling Rob not to let go of her, and that she was scared! I guess she has a little of my fear in her! Way to out climb your mom Sierra!

These rocks were amazing to climb, I just couldn't go very high without feeling like my legs would buckle beneath me. My fear of heights keeps me at a safe distance to the ground!

We all enjoyed City of Rocks and couldn't believe how some of these rocks were placed. Definitely a testimony of Heavenly Fathers miracle of creation! Hopefully we can come back during the summer and possibly camp when the weather is a bit warmer! In the kids' words, "We loved Rock City!"

Swimming in Winter

Sierra and Robbie started swim classes this month. A little crazy at the start of winter I know, but we have an indoor pool here at our gym, and that's how ya gotta do things here in Idaho!

In two weeks Robbie's confidence in the water has really increased. The first day of swimming he didn't want to get in because he said it was to deep. So with encouragement and a hand to hold he is now swimming the length of the pool with only the help of his water noodle.

Sierra has also improved in just the past two weeks. Both Robbie and Sierra are in the beginners level swimming but Sierra is just a step head of Robbie. While Robbie is learning strokes and holding his breath under water, Sierra is putting those both to practice!

They both look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays because they know that's the days they get to go swimming came rain or shine or in my case snow or ice!

Families Can be Together Forever!

It's FINALLY official! Angie and Ean Harker are now two proud parents of 6 kids! The adoption for Samantha, Timmy, Josh and Diane was completed in August. They drove to Idaho Falls to then have their whole family sealed together forever! We are so happy to have these kids as part of our family. We love them and can't wait until we get to play with our cousins again!

How spectacular is this! The perfect heart cloud positioned right over the Idaho Falls Temple. Very fitting since the Harkers were all just sealed together as a family for eternity!

After the sealing was performed I had to run out to nurse Remington. My sister April was so awesome for watching our kids so that both Rob and I could be in attendance for this special occasion.

Remington's Blessing Day

Remington Ammon Warth received his name and a blessing the first Sunday in August. He was wide awake for it and never made a peep. It's just like Remington to not want to sleep through a social event! Just as well, this was his day! Remington's blessing outfit was very special in the fact that it had belonged to Rob, and was the same exact outfit he was blessed in as a baby.

Sierra has been excited for his day for at least 2 weeks. We have been going to bed early for the past week to help get into the routine for school. Sierra had her clothes picked and laid out the night before. She said she is most nervous about not knowing anyone and having to go to school for a full day.Sierra sitting at her school desk

We recently went to see Disney's Aladdin at Mystique Theater. Another great performance. The kids loved seeing their favorite characters come to life. Sierra was thrilled to meet Jasmine and even wore her princess shoes. Robbie laughed many times at the Genie's silliness! After the opening scene where Jafar is scheming in front of the Lions cave, with all the smoke, red eyes , and evil laughter, Bridger exclaimed it was time to go home now. Thanks Grandma Warth for coming to the show with us.

We've had an enormous out pouring of love from all our family, friends and neighbors since bringing Remington home. We appreciate all the help you have given us as we have began our adjustment with a newborn baby in our home.

Remington has been a great baby boy. He is our only baby that has lost his umbilical cord within the 10-14 day time frame. All of our other kids have taken forever to lose theirs. Bridger's took nine weeks to fall off tying the record for longest attachment at our Pediatricians Doctors office.

My friend Jodi Parrish brought these beautiful and very fragrant roses by. A very cute idea, I thought. After my sister returned home and I was left alone to face the world with three kids and a newborn, I had the thought that I truly needed to take time to smell the roses! With Rob being in Alaska it's been a bit busy for us at home alone. I have to tell you though, I have the very best family, friends and neighbors anyone could EVER ask for! I love you all and can't thank you enough for all you've done to help in these first couple weeks at home!

Wednesday, July 1st our first born son, Robert Scott Warth turned 4 years old!

Day of Birth he weighed 7lbs. 3 ounces.

Now he weighs in at 34 lbs!

Robbie is a go with the flow kind of kid. He is a very patient and loving boy. He loves being outdoors riding bikes, catching bugs, and helping dad fix fishing poles. He also really enjoys puzzles and doing homework. His homework consists of cutting, glueing, painting, and coloring. We love Robbie so much, and want to wish him a very Happy Birthday! We love you son!

ROBB*E Turns 4! An Intergalactic Birthday Party!

Robbie's Robot party was Out of This World! We had originally planned to have it at a nearby park but due to bad weather we held his party in the church cultural hall. We rented a jumphouse that was considered our "moon walk" and then did different activities. We made robots out of various treats and candies, we planted plants within boots, we colored giant sized Wall*E pictures and then played a game I called "Meteor Shower". I wrapped hundreds of candies and prizes in foil and then spread them all across the floor. We played the game kinda like red light green light except they had to move like robots while collecting the treats. Within their party favor bags we put moon pies, milky way candy bars, rockets, Wall*E books, and Wall*E pens.

After a full night at the hospital allowing my cervix to soften we were ready to begin the the real labor the following morning. I finally dilated to a 3, had my water broken and got an epidural an hour later. When my labor really got started it only took 4 hours before our baby boy arrived! He came out face up, causing him to hit my pelvic bone each time I pushed. As a result, he experienced some bruising and had a cone shaped head when born. All of which was gone within a couple of hours.

It was kind of a weird day for the wind. One minute we had great wind gusts the next it was totally calm! With lots of help from Dan, this kite was able to finally take flight!

Trout Fishing at Henry's Lake

We headed up to Henry Lake for our 2nd Annual fishing trip. This time of year the trout are spawning and are usually striking like crazy! While wearing polarized glasses you can see hundreds of fish in the water. Timing is everything though.

Our timing was a bit off this year. We found out the fish were striking about a week prior. With a little help from Dad, Robbie was able to reel in this trout.

My sister, April got really creative with her gift. She gave me a Willow Tree box with a variety of fun activities to do as a family. Then she supplied me with all the materials needed to do the activities. Things such as have a whipped cream pie fight, fly kites, decorate hats and parade outside in them, play baseball, make and decorate cookies etc....

Yes, your eyes are not fooling you this is the famous best friend "Kristin" I speak of! She totally surprised me for my 30th Birthday! Ten hour drive from Denver to Pocatello! I love that her husband, Dan was game for it! In her own words she said...

"Gas from Denver, CO to Pocatello, ID: $35
Food/snacks/drinks: $15
Surprising your best friend on her 30th birthday to show her how much you love her only to have her so surprised she shuts the door in your face: priceless."

Yes, I shut the door in their faces, but it was only out of pure shock and the fact I looked like a total urchin! I was about to get into the shower. One of the greatest gifts and surprises anyone could ever ask for!

cooking and smoking.

They also had a petting zoo set up for the kids. Which included a 7 week old camel that the kids thought was quite impressive. Sierra loved being able to feed and groom the ponies.

We also watched a magic show and a few kid bands play. The kids loved being able to get away and stay in a hotel for a night. Sierra said the continental breakfast served the next morning was so good, that we should eat there every morning. Long drive for a cheap hotel meal.

I remember a quote by Elizabeth Stone, "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” I love being a mother and would sacrifice all I have for my family! I am grateful to have the gospel in my life. I know that Heavenly Father's plan is perfect and that as a family we CAN be together forever! I pray for the strength and faith to always be the best example for my children. That I will teach them all they need to know to be truly happy!

Around the first of May, Grandma Warth called to tell us Ms. Kitty was having babies. She had a total of 5 kittens. We made it there in time to see 3 of them be born. A real life science lesson for the kids to see first hand! Sierra thought it was a bit strange they came out in "plastic balls, from her bum!" Here's the last one to be born. Just after Ms. Kitty got it all cleaned up.

He loves holding the kittens, but not sure how to maneuver around their claws!At 5 weeks, the kittens love to follow movement, so they are at your feet at all times. Catapillar to Chrysalis

Sierra received this Caterpillar to Butterfly kit last year for her birthday. We finally got around to ordering the live caterpillars and received them in the mail about 6 weeks ago. After about 3-4 weeks, only one of the 5 caterpillars made is transformation into a chrysalis.The next step was to move the chrysalis to the carrier where the butterfly will be hatched. We are to spray the chrysalis once a day with room temperature water. Then we just wait.... Sierra has been trying to learn all about Butterflies. She wants to be ready for when hers will finally emerge. She learned from "Diego" that they like to eat the juice from fruit.

The kids worked hard doing their chores to earn this rocket. So, we decided to take it out to Grandma and Papa Warth's house to launch it off.

After a final count down, Robbie pushed the launch button and the rocket soared up over 600 ft. into the air. It was equipped with a yellow parachute which made it easy to retrieve.

Grease is the Word! Thanks to a good friend of mine that was casted in this musical. She hooked us up with some great dinner and a show tickets. The music was great and the dance moves were amazing in Grease Lightning! A must see for everyone.

This Easter was amazing. We did all the fun Easter activities with the kids such as dying eggs, Easter egg hunts, Easter outfits and baskets but it was just for the fun of it all. We really tried to express the importance of the REAL meaning for Easter. It is so amazing to teach these young children and to see and feel their testimonies of Christ growing. After all the commercial Easter was over we sat down with some popcorn and watched the story of Christ and his death and Resurrection. He still lives today, and because he does, we all can too! I love our Savior and am forever grateful for what he has done for all of us, so that my family can be together FOREVER!

This will probably be our last Easter at Grandma and Papa Warth's old house since they will be moving into the new home they just built. We have always loved the Easter egg hunts out at there place. We always have plenty of eggs to be found. Before there were any grandkids, the parents would hide all the eggs for us. It seemed funny to have a bunch of grown adults scampering around to find eggs, but it was a lot of fun! We have since turned over all the egg finding to our own children. 179th Annual General Conference

Can you believe Rob has never been to Conference in person while living his entire life in Idaho?!! Seems absurd I know. Having grown up in Texas I never had the opportunity for such an experience either. Recently, we both have felt the need to experience and feel the special spirit while being in the presence of our Modern day Prophet and the Twelve Apostles. We got some of the last tickets our ward had left.

The driving conditions couldn't of been any more perfect for this time of year! Although, as soon as we found parking we had to walk 4 blocks in downtown SLC, in the sleet and snow, with a full bladder! We arrived early, so we decided to spend some time at Temple Square.

A good friend of mine gave us a great idea for conference weekend. As in Mosiah, They pitched their tents with their doors toward the temple so that they might hear the words of King Benjamin as he instructed them in the doctrine of eternal life. We decided we'd do like those in the days of old and pitch our tent towards the T.V. and listen to the words our Prophet.

April Fools

This was our April Fools day dinner. Very realistic looking if you ask me! With a big thanks to Family Fun.com, Rob and I had quite a few good laughs at dinner tonight. We told the kids we were having homemade fish sicks, ketchup and a different variety of beans. For dessert they could have cupcakes with their choice of pink, blue or yellow frosting. The "fish sticks" were made from wafer cookies, peanut butter and cornflakes. "Ketchup" was seedless strawberry jam and the "beans" were green airhead candy. The "dessert" was actually the meal. I made the cupcakes from meatloaf and the frosting was colored mashed potatoes. Excited that we didn't care if she started with "dessert" for dinner tonight! The jokes on them!

Besides the pain in my back, and the strange ligaments I never knew I had being stretched out, this pregnancy has gone pretty smoothly. I have a lot to keep me busy over the next couple of months and I know time will fly by! We are still trying to come up with a name for him. I can say however, there is one name we both agree on and we're just trying to figure out if it's the ONE!

Outer Limits

Well as promised, if Sierra made a 100% on her spelling test we were off to spend the day at Outer Limits. The day before spring break let out, she took her spelling test with these words: they, or, that, blue, and then. We are so happy she aced her test. She studied these words by spelling them out with refrigerator alphabet magnets, various memory games and lots of prayers every night to help her remember. She told me later that Heavenly Father helped her remember how to spell the words she got a little stuck on. I can't believe my 5 year old is acing spelling tests and most of all developing a testimony of the power of prayer!

Monsters vs. Aliens

Today was the opening day for Monsters vs. Aliens to come out at the theaters. My kids and I really enjoyed this movie! We were able to see this in the 3D version and were all amazed at the way things really popped out and came to life on the screen. At times, we felt like we could reach out and grab the characters and at other times felt like we needed to dodge shrapnel that was flying towards our faces! It was a unique experience for the kids and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The kids all agreed there favorite character was Bob, the blue blob. So, today was our first day of Spring break and we woke up with lots and lots of snow covering the ground. You might wonder what our plans for spring break might be. When you live in southeast Idaho your plans definitely aren't your usually activities for Spring break!

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day and observation on my mom's passing on this day, we try every year to have fun, and remember family togetherness is important. Families are eternal and we will all be together forever! We spent the evening with Grandma and Papa Warth, Uncle Andy, Uncle Matt and Aunt Lydia, and Uncle Kendall and his family. Grandma and Papa made a wonderful meal of roast, cabbage, and red potatoes. There were of course lots of choices for green desserts!

Gym Rats!

Our family has officially become Gym Rats! Gold's Gym is now our second home. With Rob competing in the 12 week challenge this year it's not unusual for him to workout twice a day now. Sierra won a free 6 month membership, so we decided it would be good for the kids to each have their own membership. The youth programs provided are martial arts, dance, gymnastics, basketball, jump roping, and swimming. We figured this opened their eyes to a wide range of activities, letting them choose what they really enjoy doing. While the kids are working out, I'm managing to stay "in shape" by taking GGX classes or working out with Rob. Try as I might, I continue to grow out of shape. Nothing you can do when your 6 1/2 months pregnant. Bridger is not quite old enough for a membership yet, so he enjoys the luxuries of the Kids Klub! They provide fun themed activities, stories, games, and movies for the kiddos. My family actually looks forward to their time spent at the gym. The other day the weather was 27 degrees with winds blowing between 20-45mph. The clouds were really rolling by and it was for sure a day to be spent inside! While observing the weather and staring out the window, Sierra exclaims, "I know why the clouds are moving so fast, because Jesus might be coming today!" So many thoughts went through my head at that point. Amazing to have her envision the second coming as the clouds rolling back and parting for our Savior, Jesus Christ. Wow, what if He really did come today, would I be ready?!! I couldn't help but think of the primary song If the Savior stood beside me, written by Sally DeFord.

If the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do? Would I think of His commandments and try harder to be true? Would I follow His example? Would I live more righteously, If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

If the Savior stood beside me, would I say the things I say? Would my words be true and kind if He were never far away? Would I try to share the gospel? Would I speak more reverently If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

If the Savior stood beside me, would my thoughts be clean and pure? Would His presence give me strength and hope, and courage to endure? Would His counsel guide my actions? Would I choose more worthily If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?

He is always near me, though I do not see Him there And because He loves me dearly, I am in His watchful care So I'll be the kind of person that I know I'd like to be, If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me.

I think it's always wise to take time to reevaluate our lives and the direction we are heading in. It's important to keep fine tuning those little things we need to work on. So, I leave with you the thought, would you be ready if the Savior came today?

Our Boise Trip, My EYES have been opened!

Sierra had a 3 day weekend a couple of weeks ago, so we decided to take a trip to Boise. Since the drive takes 3-4 hours we usually plan to stay a night or two in a hotel. This particular trip we had scheduled eye appointments with our old Optometrist. We haven't been very pleased with any eye doctors in the Pocatello area and feel that our Optometrist in Nampa is about the best in all the Northwest. My vision had changed 4 times the amount that it had been since last seen at that office. One reason could be because I'm currently pregnant, the other reason being, he found 4 small cataracts on my right eye! I freaked out! Doesn't only old people get those, I'm not even 30 years old yet! Positive side to it all is that cataract surgery wouldn't happen for 5-10 years and insurance would have to pay to put a new lens in my eye. Meaning, I would have near perfect vision in that eye and wouldn't have to wear contacts again. Overall, we feel like it was worth the 4 hour drive to not have this eye problem overlooked again. Who knows how long those cataracts have been developing. I feel so blessed for the body my Father in Heaven has blessed me with. It just leaves me thinking how fragile our bodies really are and how easily we can take things for granted.

Monday, February 23rd our youngest, Bridger Joseph Warth turned two years old!

Now 23lbs.

When our children turn two they graduate from the crib to a twin size bed. In almost every circumstance it's been just in time for the arrival of our next child. I was nervous that by doing this Bridger wouldn't want to take naps anymore. He has always been a great sleeper, just lay him down and walk away kind of kid. I was just worried with the "new" found freedom we might run into a few problems. The first time he ever tried his new big boy bed happened to be at nap time. He got out of bed 3 times and then finally decided it wasn't a battle he wanted to take on. He has now stayed in bed every time it's bed or nap time! We feel so blessed he is such a good boy.

Bridger had a great turn out for his Zoo party! We had a total of 12 critters running around in our zoo. We ate pizza, made animal puppets and played an assortment of animal games. A big thank you for all the mothers that stayed and helped. Ambur you were a huge help and a great substitute for my sister, since she couldn't be there due to work.

The dreaded Friday Spelling Tests

Sierra is currently 5 years old and is in kindergarten. Each week she is given 5 spelling words to learn and practice. Every Friday she has a spelling test on these words. This particular week her words were, "must, hog, few, that, and was." Not all words that are easy to sound out either. We were thrilled to find out Sierra scored a 4 out of 5 on this spelling test. One of her best ones yet! I was begining to think she may have test anxiety. Every Thursday night, I hear the excuses of why she shouldn't have to go to school on spelling test day. Once she even used the fact she thought it was to foggy to drive to school," it's just to dangerous mom!" I think she is finally understanding the concept along with lots of games and songs we've made up at home we are finally seeing some progress and excitement on her part. For this job well done we took her and the rest of the family to see a movie of her choice. She chose to see Tale of Despereaux.

The kindergarten level is no longer what you and I remember it as. Coloring, Dress-ups, ABC's and 123's. It's now the first grade level. These children are learning to read and write sentences.

It's a BOY!

Here is a full body shot of our baby boy. As clearly seen in this picture he is a BOY!
Our little guy now weighs 9 ounces and is measuring to be due on June 30th. He gave us a thumbs up at one point during the ultra sound and we also got a picture of him sticking his tongue out at us. He already has so much personality for the camera! We currently have no ideas for boy names, but will gladly take any suggestions. Sierra was a bit bummed the baby wasn't a girl but now has excepted she will be the only princess and is excited to think up a name for him. She has already suggested Kidger, Bryan, and Sidger. Robbie is thrilled it's a BOY just like him, and Bridger knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy! We all are very excited to welcome this little guy into our family. I just hope the kids understand we are only half way there!

O.k. I don't normally write books but as per request from many people I decided to type up the Sharing Time our Primary class did this past Sunday. I was very proud of our class at how well they did and I am so excited to have been called as one of their Primary teachers. If you might have a Sharing time Lesson coming up this year, please feel free to use any or all of this. I'm sure you could even expand more on this idea. Have fun with it. We sure did!

The following night was our night to have all the family over for dinner and FHE, so Sierra and Robbie wanted use our Sharing time Lesson for FHE. Here are a few pics from our FHE version.

I walked into the room wearing a construction hat and tool belt, and told the Primary that my name was Sister Builder and I was in the neighborhood to build three houses. Set up previously, in the front of the room, I had three tables each one with the supplies to build a particular house. Straw House(flexible kind), Stick house(Popsicle sticks), and the Brick house(large Lego's). Each house was to be built on a foundation. I used a plain 8x11 sheet of paper as the foundation for each house to be built upon except for the Brick house, I taped a picture of Christ under the sheet of paper not allowing anyone to see the differences of the foundations. I also made "blue prints" for each house. These were mainly instructions for the leaders that would be helping to build the houses. For example: the Lego's need to be built more flat than towered(a ranch home instead of a 3 story home), both the straws and sticks need to be built in a criss cross pattern(you can draw a picture to illustrate this for them). I chose 3 children from my class to be my contractors to overlook the job and then chose 1 kid and leader from the Primary to help build for each house. My 3 contractors also wore construction hats. While I gave them a few minutes to build, the rest of the Primary spoke about how to build a house, what kind of tools you might use, when it's done what might go inside of your house etc. etc.

When the houses were built we talked about the families that were now living in these homes. In the straw house we had a family that never chose the right, never held FHE, never prayed, etc. I asked the Primary to continue to give me ideas of how this family never chose the right and then would write their responses down on a sheet of paper. The child was to hold on to this paper until later on in the lesson. Next we spoke of the family who lived in the stick house and how sometimes they did what was expected of them but mainly when it was just convenient for them. Finally I introduced the family that lived in the Brick house. My class dressed up as the Faithful family(I had costumes for a dad, mom, brothers and sisters) and showed items that represented how they choose the right and stay faithful to there Father in Heaven. Brother Faithful held a rake and said they enjoy serving others, Sister Faithful held a can of food and explained they follow the counsel of the prophet and have food storage, son Faithful held tithing envelope, daughter Faithful held scriptures.

After meeting the families I explained how the Lord tests us to see if we will be faithful and that Satan is always trying to tempt us to do wrong. Then I told them there would be a big bad storm! All the children that had papers, I told them to crumble them up and come to the front of the room to throw them at the houses. The straw and stick house fall over immediately, and the Brick house of course stays strong and intact. They really try to knock that Brick house down, so make some ground rules. Next, I explained the importance of building on a good foundation, and how both the straw and stick house were built on virtually nothing but sheets of blank paper but the Brick house was built upon the foundation of Christ. I read the scripture from Helaman 5:12 and then closed with my testimony. My friend that I teach with and I, made a handout for all the primary children. I bought some 5x7 pictures of Christ and then affixed a toy tool on each one so that each child could remember to build their foundation upon Christ!

A Giving Heart

Our kids were given a trash bag and asked to go through there toys and donate items to give to the DI. Normally they fuss and moan about this task, but this time they really took it seriously. On other occasions when I inspect the bag to see what they have decided to donate, I usually find broken parts of toys, dollar store items, and books with torn pages. This particular time they really wanted to give from there heart, for the most part.

This book was chosen cause the "kids" don't know about Jesus yet. Every member a missionary, even if they are only in Primary.

These dance costumes were chosen because I was told, "they are just too itchy!"

My special personalized blanket given to me by my sister, was going to be donated so that the "kids" won't get cold.

How sweet and tender hearted children can be! On a side note, we replaced all the above items with a Book of Mormon, clothes the kids have outgrown, a coat, and a few blankets that weren't so sentimental.

The final project! Isn't it just beautiful!

Sierra says she loves her new quilt and that it is so beautiful! She says it's the warmest quilt ever and she wants to keep it forever to share with her kids one day.

I managed to FINALLY complete this quilt for Sierra. With lots of help and prodding from my friend Amy it only took me 9 months. I still need to complete a pillow sham and would like to make a couple valances for Sierra's room as well. That should only take 3-6 months to finish! I actually enjoyed this project and feel quite crafty now!

Wok or Sled?

We just purchased a Texas sized Wok! It's an Eastman Outdoors 22" Stainless Steel Wok, and it's HUGE. Across from handle to handle it is the length of my entire arm. Rob has been wanting to buy this for months and finally it went on sale at Sportsmans and he couldn't pass it up!

Sierra can literrally fit her entire body underneath it!

Dino Sauria Puzzle

The kids got a lot of games, puzzles and books for Christmas this year, which we were thrilled about! We love them cause it gives them something else to do besides wanting to watch t.v. Plus, it teaches them to take turns, think strategically, and how to act when you lose and win. Our family of course doesn't ever lose so, we could probably use help with that since we've never been there before! A few of there favorite games have been Connect 4, Sequence for Kids, and Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. I thought they would love Operation but they won't touch it with a 10ft. pole. Freaks them out and they think they are shocking and hurting the guy under operation. Quite funny actually. I bet they wouldn't be any good with opening a can of Grands Biscuts!

I am currently in my 17th week of pregnancy and am beginning to develop a noticeable bump. So, after getting ready for church today, my 5 year old Sierra, told me I looked just like a Higglytown Hero, because of the baby. Do you see the resemblance? Kids sure have a way with words don't they!

A few years ago I promised to write in my journal everyday that entire year. I thankfully was able to accomplish that goal and have been blessed to have that particular year be one of the most memorable in my mind. It was a struggle to do this daily but I learned a lot about myself by doing this, and it's been recorded for my prosperity. I plan on making this another goal of mine for 2009. Losing weight will have to be saved for 2010 considering we are expecting a baby in June! Maybe that will be my year to win the Gold's Gym 12 week challenge!

We attended a Children's Readers' Theatre of "Ben's Christmas Carol". This story is loosely based on Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol, Ben the Christmas Mouse takes you an adventure to find the true meaning of Christmas. He encounters many creatures during his journey. Ben’s Christmas Carol helps children understand Christmas from a mouse-eye’s view!

Quite creepy when you consider how life like these mice look. A giant mouse seems like something from a sci-fi movie!

April and her kiddos were supposed to attend this event with us, but because of bad weather she gifted her tickets to a friend of mine. In spite of missing you April, we still managed to have a good time.

Grandma Scales' Enchiladas, It's What's for Dinner!

Our Ward Family Christmas Party

Our ward rented out the local skating rink for our Ward Christmas party. We had a really great time skating and hanging out with all our friends in one place. The kids loved skating. Robbie really is a natural at it and was very quick to let us know he wanted to do it by himself! Sierra wanted to skate off with her friends but found it a bit more difficult then running on her own two feet. She was very determined and never gave up. Bridger enjoyed lounging in the stroller and I'm sure can't wait for his chance to skate one day. Santa showed up to take wish lists from the children. Sierra asked for a cupcake maker, Robbie asked for a Diego Train, and Bridger wouldn't even talk to the man.

With our good friend Rene Bown moving to Texas, we decided to have one last girls night out with her before she left us for her family and warmer weather. We played 4 games of Laser Tag and I'd like to say the make up and camo garb helped me kick every ones butt, but I guess I forgot to summon my eagle powers! I did however manage to be the highest scorer on my team in the first game. Sorry for shooting so many of my team members especially you Beemer! Thanks for helping me, be the best that I can be!

Brewing Rootbeer the Old School Way!

Only after three days and after answering many questions of "Is it done yet?", We finally indulged on our homemade root beer! We all really liked it, but agreed next time we'd tweak the recipe for a bit more sugar and a little less yeast. This was a fun family science project!

BSU overcomes Fresno State 61-10 for Another Undefeated Season

Ian Johnson ran for 128 yards and scored two touchdowns! The senior tied the WAC record of 57 rushing touchdowns set by Marshall Faulk at San Diego State from 1991-93.

Although the WAC championship trophy was already won last week, Coach Pete dismissed it and celebration until after the game. After the close of the game, Boise State has successfully achieved another undefeated season with a 12-0 record. This will be the third in five years, something no other college team can currently claim.

Shopped till I dropped! Crashed out on the JC Penny's bed. I went to Walmart, Sportsmans, Big 5, Fred Meyers, Deseret Book, Bath and Bodyworks, Vanity and JC Penny's. I brought home a lot of good stuff! It was totally worth the banged up heels, and lack of sleep to get a great deal!

Twilight at Midnight!

Lots and lots of reviews being written about the Twilight movie! I of course have mine, and what I say is obviously right! Overall, I thought the movie was good. I felt like if you haven't read the book, don't go see this movie. This movie would probably appear to be cheesy and would have you feeling there was lack of information to complete the story if having never read the book. There was little time to get to know characters in the movie, so a knowledge before hand is very helpful. This movie could have easily been 5 hours long and of course none of us would have complained, we sat for an hour and a half just waiting for the movie to start. Overall, I loved the actors chosen for all the characters. Jasper was a weird pick, and Jacob wasn't the best actor. I'm sure he'll redeem himself in the next one though. A few of my favorites had to be Carlise, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice, and Bella's parents. They all seemed to follow the characters in the book. It was fun aguring with a friend about how the movie set Bella's room up all wrong from the pictures in our head. I missed seeing Stephanie Meyers in a diner scene. I guess I'll have to go watch it again! I honestly think the sequels will only get better too! So quit wasting your time time on the computer go watch Twilight 50 times so they can make lots of money to put into the sequels.

Thanks to Renee and of course 25% thanks goes to Amy for making sure we had our tickets purchased for the midnight showing of Twilight! It was exciting to know we were some of the first to take a peek in on Edward and Bella's drama on the big screen! We were like a bunch of giddy teenagers. There were a total of 10 in our group, and the theater was sold out! Girls ranging from 12-75 were there and a handful of guys, that let's hope, were just dragged there by girlfiends. One old lady was proud to annouce she was for Team Jacob!

This year Sierra decided we all needed to take a trip down the Yellow Brick Road. Her and Robbie planned out our whole families costumes. Sierra only wished we had more kids so they could have been the munchkins! Rob and Ang trying to be evil but coming more across like not enjoying ourselves! We actually had a really great time, we just don't do evil well I guess.
"I'll get you my pretty and your candy too!" I actually said this to a bunch of kids on Halloween night. I had some great reactions!

We had a lot of fun. The weather was actually good and we were able to enjoy being outside without hiding our costumes behind coats. We went to our ward's trunk or treat and then hit up Grandma and Papa Warth's ward for chili and more trunk or treating. Later that night, Rob and I decided we wanted to show the kids how we trick or treated as kids. No Rob didn't show them the art of smashing pumpkins, just trick or treating door to door the good old fashioned way!

Sierra, Robbie, and Bridger placed in 2nd for the group Halloween costumes. Sierra was thrilled when she saw the prize was a huge bag full of more candy! Every kids dream.

Pumpkin Carving

October was our month to host the family FHE. So, for our activity we carved our pumpkins for Halloween. We kinda got a late start so the kids got cranky early on. Robbie loves to use the Jack-O-Laterns as puzzles and try to figure out which pieces match to make it a complete pumpkin again. Sierra enjoyed cleaning the seeds out so we could roast pumpkin seeds and Bridger just wanted to gnaw on the raw pumpkin! We had a great time and had fun spending time with the family. Next year we should really consider a pumpkin carving contest!

I think Sierra and I could have been the only ones enjoying this!

Riding B on the Goldwing!

Grandma and Grandpa Warth stopped by today to spend some time with the kids. They thought it would be fun to give them some rides around the block on Papa's Honda Goldwing!

Here are a few bikers lingo for ya:

Riding B: Riding second on the motorcycle, behind the driver. The “B” does not stand for back.

Knucklehead, Panhead or Shovelhead: Decades-old models of Harleys, nicknamed due to the shape of the engine's rocker box. When someone says they own one, nod appreciatively – there are almost no original ones left.

Burn-out: Spinning the rear wheel sufficiently to melt the tire, competing to see who can put down the biggest patch of rubber on asphalt. It ruins the tire, but it's cool.

Fair Times

While waiting in the heat for kids I have said many times, “This is not fair to the rest of us to have to wait for” etc etc etc…. Sierra has since picked up this phrase, as most kids mimic what we say, and while waiting says,”come on this is not a fair, please hurry up!”

Last Camping Trip of the year!

What started out to be a questionable camping trip ended up being a lot of fun. We first arrived just at dusk so it made setting up camp a little difficult. The temperature began to drop and getting warmer clothes on was a must. That is when we realized mine and Rob's clothes had been left behind at home. Who goes camping and forgets their clothes? I mean I've heard of fash lights, spatulas, and chairs being forgotten, but our clothes. That about ranks up there with forgetting toilet paper. After Rob made a fire and quick trip home we were set for fun! We owe a huge thank you to Matt and Lydia Warth for actually planning and getting everybody's butts up on the mountain. It was really a great family experience to be amoungst loved ones in our Our Heavenly Fathers creations. It was beautiful up there. Many memories not to be forgotten. We of course heard our share of Ghost stories with Papa Warth being there. Sierra is still not convinced that was a kitten in your closet!

Super Saturday Enrichment Project

Here's the 6ft. garland I made and have been stressing out about over the past week. The final count for the Enrichment activity is 20.

Who would have thought you couldn't purchase nuts in their shell this time of year. None of our local stores in this great city of Pocatello will carry them until the middle of November. They are a seasonal item. There are so many people to thank for helping me in completing this project. My good husband for dealing with me in my days of stress. Eloyd Harris for pausing his football game to ultimately get me the nuts needed for this project. My mother-in-law for being my personal On Star and GPS, and our wonderful neighbors the Waddupps for watching my kids while I used there drill press to drill every stick, and nut. Not to mention they also feed us dinner and helped cut every stick for this project. We have some amazing friends and family. Thanks again!
